INJECTABLE SUSPENSION

Ingredient: each 1 ml contains

Amoxicillin trihydrate………………………………………………..150 mg

Gentamicin sulfate…………………………………………………………40 mg

Excipient qs…… …………………………………………………………………….1 ml

Spectrum of activity: (chỉ để trong toa)

The combination of Amoxicillin and Gentamicin acts synergistically against a wide range of infections caused by both Gram-positive (e.g Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Corynebacterium spp) and Gram-negative (e.g E coli , Pasteurella , Salmonella and Pseudomonas spp)

Indication:

• Used for Gastrointestinal, Respiratory and infections caused by bacteria sensitive to the combination of amoxicillin and gentamicin such as pneumonia, diarrhea, bacterial enteritis.
• Mastitis, metritis and cutaneous abscesses.

Contraindication:

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to amoxicillin or gentamicin.

Dosage:

Caution: shake well before using
Intramuscular (I.M) injection
The general dosage: 1 ml per 10 Kg body weight per day for 3 days
Do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle or more than 10 ml in swine and more than 5 ml in calves per injection site to favour absorption and dispersion.

Withdrawal times:

Meat: 30 days

Milk: 3 days

Storage condition:

Store in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight below 30 c
